Fire Safety Evaluation
The law has changed, gone are the days where the local fire service carried out the fire safety inspections. This is now the responsibility of the owner/employer.
We will evaluate your premises with minimal disruption & review your fire safety provisions, such as:
Means of escape
- Common walkways, doors, fire escapes etc
Means for securing the means of escape
- Fire separation, compartmentation, fire protection, emergency lighting, signage, fire procedures, and disabled access.
Means for giving warning in case of fire
- Fire alarm, Electric/manual.
Means for fighting a fire
- Portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, sand buckets etc.
We also evaluate any flammable storage facility & ensure that your fire training & inspection records are up to date.
This evaluation is aimed at building owners and occupiers, employers, insurance companies & any prospective purchaser of premises.
It will include a comprehensive written report which will show our findings & observations & will conclude with our recommendations. This will ensure that you fulfil your legal obligations within the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, carried out by a former specialist fire safety officer who is also a qualified internal auditor.
We are happy to liaise with other agencies.
